• CAITLYN BLOXHAM

    Physiotherapist/Owner

    Caitlyn graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014. She has completed some extensive post-graduate study, gaining a certificate of manual therapy from NZMPA as well as a post-graduate certificate in Western Acupuncture from AUT.

    Caitlyn began her physio career in the Waikato before meeting her partner and moving north. She worked in the Kaipara and Rodney districts for a few years before starting Maungaturoto Physio in October 2021. Caitlyn has an interest in all aspects of private practice and sports physiotherapy, working closely with the local Otamatea Hawks rugby team by supporting them on game days. She has previously travelled to America with the NZ secondary schools football team as part of the medical support team.

    Outside of work Caitlyn enjoys spending time with her partner, children and all of the animals and proudly calls Maungaturoto home.

    Physiotherapist

    Aimee graduated from the University of Otago in 2020 with Distinction. She has an interest in all forms of musculoskeletal injury and uses a mix of soft tissue techniques, mobilisation and exercise prescription in her treatment approach. She enjoys working with patients to set realistic goals, and has both a hollistic and practical approach to wellbeing. Aimee has recently added dry needling to her treatment repertoir and in 2025 is undertaking study in both Yoga and Pilates.

    Aimee grew up in Kerikeri so is no stranger to living in Northland. She moved to Maungaturoto recently and is excited to continue getting to know the local area. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading and being out on the boat. Aimee also coaches gymnastics locally.
